Butterfly Valve

Butterfly valves can be used for on/off service and throttling/balancing. It is lighter in weight than other types of valves and requires relatively low pressure drops. It can be used with gas, liquid and solid materials. Butterfly valves are present in almost all industries that need flow control. These could be the following:
